TRANSFORMASI KONFLIK SOSIAL ANTARA ETNIS BALI DAN LAMPUNG DALAM MEWUJUDKAN PERDAMAIAN DI BALINURAGA, KECAMATAN WAY PANJI, KABUPATEN LAMPUNG SELATAN

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis berbagai faktor penyebab konflik laten di Balinuraga menjadi konflik terbuka,serta bagaimana upaya transformasi konflik dilakukan untuk mengubah kondisi yang konfliktual menjadi harmonis, destruktif menjadi konstruktif. Lingkaran Survei Indonesia (LSI) mencatat Lampung, dengan konflik Balinuraga tahun 2012, masuk kedalam lima (5) wilayah dengan tingkat diskriminasi terburuk pasca reformasi. Selain itu, belum ada penelitian yang mengkaji tentang bagaimana upaya transformasi konflik di Balinuraga, sehingga penulis merasa perlu untuk mengangkat tema transformasi konflik Balinuraga sebagai judul dan pokok pembahasan dalam tulisan ini. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan dalam proses analisis kasus, penulis menggunakan beberapa teori dan konsep, seperti Teori Konflik, Teori Transformasi Konflik, Teori Kerja Sama, Teori Identitas Sosial, Konsep Segitiga ABC Konflik Galtung, Konsep SAT, dan Konsep Perdamaian. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konflik Balinuraga dipicu oleh kenakalan remaja, diperluas dengan isu etnisitas dan arogansi antar kelompok sebagai akselerator, dan dilatarbelakangi kebijakan transmigrasi serta isu kesenjangan ekonomi sebagai faktor struktural. Upaya transformasi konflik dilakukan dalam empat dimensi, yaitu personal, relasional, kultural, dan struktural demi mewujudkan perdamaian yang berkelanjutan dan keamanan nasional.
