Focus and Scope

Jurnal Pertahanan is an open-access journal published by Indonesia Defense University, that focuses on various issues within defense and security studies, such as defense strategy, defense management, defense technology, and national security issues. Jurnal Pertahanan seeks to publish a balanced mix of high-quality theoretical or empirical research articles, case studies, review papers, comparative studies, exploratory papers, and book reviews on local, national, regional, and international level.

Subjects for publication include, but are not limited to the following fields of:

The journal may present only original contributions, i.e. the ones that have not been published elsewhere, nor are currently under consideration in any other refereed journal. All contributions are refereed in "peer-review" process by experts appointed by editorial board of Jurnal Pertahanan. Articles are published exclusively in English language.
