The Relationship Between Upper Arm Circumference and Hemoglobin Levels in Pregnant Women at the Temindung Community Health Center in Samarinda City

Efforts to improve the health status of mothers and children are one of the national priority programs. The increasing needs of pregnant women must be met so that mothers are not at risk of KEK and anemia. This study aims to determine the relationship between upper arm circumference and hemoglobin levels in pregnant women at the Temindung Health Center, Samarinda City. The type of research used is analytical observational research. The population of this study is pregnant women visiting Integrated ANC who meet the inclusion criteria. The sampling technique used was Purposive Sampling with a total sample of 49 respondents. Data analysis uses Pearson correlation. Based on 49 respondents of pregnant women, LILA measurements with age characteristics and parity, 31 respondents (63.3%) were in normal conditions, 18 respondents (36.7%) were with SEZ conditions, then hemoglobin levels were with age characteristics and parity, 34 respondents (69.4%) were in normal conditions, 15 respondents (30.6%) were in anemia. It can be seen that p-value = 0.002, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between Upper Arm Circumference and Hemoglobin Levels in Pregnant Women at the Temindung Health Center, Samarinda City.
